PROS: *Pricing *Cleanliness *Basic Rodent/Pest Control (Rodenticide present in unit on arrival along w several dead roaches & their eggs - hey, it's Florida!) *Fairly New Facility *Friendly, Courteous Customer Service (phone) CONS: *Somewhat Remote Location with limited on-site security. Website claims "Video cameras on site" but, I didn't notice any beyond the obvious ones in the building corridor. Additionally, the website states there is no "On site office at facility" *Limited Maneuverability and Blind Spots between EVERY building - if towing a trailer, you may want to first investigate your ingress and egress routes on foot *Visible Collision Damage to corners of several buildings; No Building Corner Post Protectors - My storage unit is an end unit and already has significant damage making me worry about leaks and access point for critters and risk to my belongings *Lack of Traffic Routing Aids, directional arrows or signs such as "EXIT" or "Building/Storage Units 1234 This Way" *Confusing Numbering of Buildings versus Storage Unit Numbers. This needs to be fixed or addressed during signup whether in person, online, or over the phone *Lack of ramps at doorways. Annoying 2" threshold at EVERY doorway making entry with loaded hand truck just that much more aggravating. Not an issue if your storing just a few items at a time. But, when unloading and storing 4000 pounds after several days on the road, almost made me wish I'd gone elsewhere *Speeding - a few customers speeding through the facility, especially those going to and from the fenced-in RV/boat storage area Overall, I'm satisfied with this place. But, There are a lot of minor tweaks that need to be made. Otherwise, I'm undecided if I'll stay for the long term or seek storage options elsewhere. It seems this place was designed and setup by unseasoned people. This could be a great place after a lot of minor tweaking.

We have had numerous issues with the gate codes, which prohibit us from getting access to our boat. This has caused much frustration. We should not have to call and deal with a long hold every time we need to access our own property. It's a huge headache that has happened way too many times.

Security seems to be pretty good and that is probably the number one topic of concern when storing your items. With that, I would make one recommendation for improvement. When you enter the left-side gate and transition from pavement to gravel where the boats and RVs are stored, there are multiple holes that require filling with gravel. The hole are very bad on the suspension systems of boat trailers. Thank you in advance for investing some profits to fix this issue.

Do I need to rent a climate controlled unit?

If you have delicate items such as musical instruments, computers, pictures, antique wood furniture, it is recommended to select a climate controlled unit. Climate controlled storage units protect against rust, corrosion, mold, cracking, and warping.

What’s the difference between an indoor and an outdoor unit?An outdoor storage unit is one that has a direct access and usually drive-up accessible. An indoor unit is located within the building.

What items can't be put in a storage unit?

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items that you store. Storage facility's insurance provides protection for the location that houses the storage units and not the contents of individual storage units. If your homeowner insurance doesn't cover your items, usually the facility manager will help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions would be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renters insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but the coverage does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID(driver’s license, state ID or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6am – 10pm seven days a week, you can access your unit by using your individual gate code. During office hours, the company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements and billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests otherwise.
