How does Movers Corp work?

Search for Movers by entering your zip code and your desired moving day in the Search Box. Compare the Movers and place an order with your credit or debit card. You may place an order directly through the website or by giving us a call. Movers Corp will charge your card for the services you have requested and provide you with a service code for your Movers. Your hired Mover will contact you within 24 hours to discuss details of the upcoming move. When you are satisfied with your requested services, give the service code to your Mover as payment.

How soon do I need to schedule my move?

Reservation is based on availability. In order to ensure the desired day, place your order as soon as possible. Usually, the weekends and the end of the month are peak times in the moving industry.

Are Movers licensed and insured?

Some Movers are, some Movers are not. Please check the Movers' profiles for insurance and licensing information. If the Movers are licensed, they will publish their license information (USDOT#) in their profile. Movers Corp does not insure or protect Customers or Movers.

What services are offered?

Movers at Movers Corp provide wide range of moving services that include taking apart your furniture and wrapping your furniture and appliances at your original address, transporting the goods to the destination, unloading and reassembling furniture at the new location (local moves only).

What type of equipment do Movers provide?

Usually the hourly rate includes a moving truck, moving blankets, dollies, bungee cords, straps, tools for disassembling and assembling of your furniture. For more accurate information, please refer to Movers' profiles.

Do Movers work on weekends and holidays?

In most areas they do. Just enter your zip code and desired moving day to find available Movers.

Terrance and Lee recently helped us with our in-house move. They were prompt, pleasant, polite and very accommodating. They worked at an efficient pace and even though we needed to extend their help by an hour (because we had more to move than we had thought), we were surprised and very pleased with the ending cost !

Mover called me up and suggested getting a third person as it would speed things up. So I agreed. Said third person stayed outside at the truck the majority of the time and only came in to help someone move something that required two people when the 2nd person was moving something by himself. Also they took off for 30-45 minutes after leaving my old apartment with my stuff instead of going straight to the new apartment.

Overall Everything was good. There was a scratch left on our floor. We were promised it would be resolved by COB 18 Nov 16. We look forward to this being resolved.

They moved us locally - from one residence to another residence. The movers did a pretty good job; they were prompt, courteous and took care of all of our items. I would recommend them for any move.

Swiftway services had promised to come between 8 to 8:30 AM, but they come at 10:00 AM. The unloading also was not that good, very slow and not competent to pick up furniture that good. Made some damage to the walls, and was not able to do a quality job.

Movers came 2 hrs later than originally scheduled. The person Andrea who called to schedule trues to get the full payment before the work is complete. The movers are extremely slow. I sent an email requesting a call to Andrea the day before. No response.

HORRIBLE. It took these two guys 3 HOURS to move me out of my small studio apt and then 2.5 HOURS to move me into my new unit. It also took them 3 HOURS to get to my new place (20 minute drive) . Paid hourly and worked like they were paid hourly.

Honestly, the guys who helped with loading our truck were phenomenal! They were at our home almost two hours early, once they got started they didn't slow down. They were very polite, friendly, and very thorough! Would definitely recommend them!

Movers did not arrive on time (8am) and did not call right away to alert of being late (10am). Tried to charge 1 hr for driving time to arrive at the site. Movers worked very slowly trying to use up the allotted 5 hr time period. Very bad experience.

Extremely late, with no explanation as to why. I did not receive a call of the movers tardiness, and on top of that the offices are closed on Saturdays! In the future, please provide an after hours contact # and the drivers contact info. Very displeased!

Movers arrived 1.5 hours late due to no-show worker. Guys that came did great but one not used to moving so made overall loading slower than necessary.

Each time I use Swiftway they always put someone with a very thick stutter on the phone who is almost impossible to understand. But they are good enough workers.

The movers were 4 hours late the first try so I rescheduled the move. On the second try the movers were 1.5 hours late even though we were the first move of the day. The 3 guys did an OK job of loading and unloading the furniture.
