This facility met my needs. They had a unit available immediately without any wait. My only complaint is gate access hours. I would prefer 24-hour gate access.

This storage facility met my needs. The only thing I would change is granting 24-hour gate access.

Overall, not the best experience. But the live in manager was fantastic!!!!! She was very helpful in spite of her computer system!! We just moved on on 4/11. The girl's computers were down so we are having to use code she gave us and we couldn't get the 2 ten by ten units with roll up doors as I had reserved on the internet.? We are still waiting to be moved to the requested units. We also did not get the free first month rent as advertised on the sign out front.

While the customer service was very nice, The unit was filthy with dust and crud. The lights are not working all over the facility, so if you want to visit your stuff when it is cool, you'd best take a flashlight.

We located lockbox west on a Saturday, while they were closed. The large sign out front said "first month free". We went home and promptly made online reservations for a 5'x8' unit. We received an e- mail conformation and a notice that we would owe only a $15.00 admin fee at sighning up. My wife went in person to finalize the contract and was told they would not honor any of the stated fees, even though we had them in writing, because we had made an "online" reservation. The described specials were only for "walk-in" customers. I would not recommend this facility or company because of misrepresentation of fee's and unfair practices.

We had to move our Daughter out of the dorms for the summer. I located Lock Box West through Sparefoot.com and they had the exact size unit we were needing. I made reservations online and was promptly contacted by Lindsey, the Owner, to confirm my storage needs. Lindsey was very helpful and answered all my questions - and I had several since I was coming from out of town. Sparefoot.com sent me convenient reminders via text message that included a handy location map link. I contacted Lindsey at Lock Box West on the move in day and she had all our move in paper work ready to go when we arrived with our first load. The entire process way quick & easy.

What’s the difference between an indoor and an outdoor unit?An outdoor storage unit is one that has a direct access and usually drive-up accessible. An indoor unit is located within the building.

What items can't be put in a storage unit?

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items that you store. Storage facility's insurance provides protection for the location that houses the storage units and not the contents of individual storage units. If your homeowner insurance doesn't cover your items, usually the facility manager will help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions would be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renters insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but the coverage does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID(driver’s license, state ID or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6am – 10pm seven days a week, you can access your unit by using your individual gate code. During office hours, the company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements and billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests otherwise.
