- Clean unit with low humidity, even out of climate control. Awesome customer service, with friendly, curteous service. Hours of operation are only 7 - 22:30, but the gate opens swiftly and all the equipment is in prime condition.

- Karlee was nice and helpful, also the trick is advertised price includes insurance, if you have storage coverage on your homeowners or renters insurance you can knock 10 bucks off your monthly fee. Also, AAA deal for free first month and 20 gift card sweetened the deal. Definitely satisfied!

- Quick and easy to get a unit. Pricing is better than most of the other places around. I moved here as the last storage unit I was at smelt awful of moth balls and had spiders!! The unit was clean when I moved in and I got to pick my gate code :) Plus NO SPIDERS!!!

- The price was very competitive, even before the AAA discount was applied. The units are very secure and well-monitored. The business is located on a hillside so getting in/out, especially with a full trailer, might be a slight challenge, but nothing wild. My only complaint would be that the units are laid out in pretty tight quarters, both inside and outside. There's only room for one car in the lanes, and inside, moving furniture was a bit of a challenge. That's not really something they can change for obvious reasons, but it's something you may want to consider depending on what you'll be storing.

- After a few months at $217.00 per month I got a letter in the mail that the price was going up to $289.00 on the next payment. All the competition around was still listed around $215 to $238 for the same size storage. I find this type of rate increase after I have moved in unfair and unethical. I plan to move to another storage facility.

- We'd had no plans to sell our house, even though we had been renting it out for the past ten years. BUT someone made an offer we couldn't refuse. So all of the items we'd been storing in one of the garage bays had to come out quickly! I searched online for self-storage facilities near the house, and decided on All American Self Storage in Westbrook, Maine. It was very easy to reserve a unit online. Well, I had forgotten just how much you can put into a garage! Arriving at All American with a fully-loaded 10' moving truck - and a second load to follow! - it was obvious that the unit I'd reserved was much too small. Thankfully there were larger units available. The manager even drove me out to inspect the unit, which was very clean and well-lighted and exactly what I needed. We drove back to the office where it took a few minutes to complete the forms. Yes, there were a lot of forms, but they weren't difficult. The only unexpected expense was the requirement to buy insurance for the contents, but it's certainly a good idea to insure our belongings, and this made it easy to do so. In short, we are well pleased with All American Self Storage. The location is very convenient (close to the interstate); the staff is courteous and helpful; the facility is fenced and is accessed through a security gate; there are security camera on site; it is well-lighted; the unit was clean and easy to access with a roll-up door you can drive right up to.
