- Purchase of the unit was easy. Unit was clean and a good location. However - when we arrived we were told there are only THREE carts and they were all being used. Surely you can furnish more carts so move in is easy.

- The reason that I am providing 2 stars is: -I rented this unit as a climate controlled, it is not. The day i rented, upon the tour of the/and to the unit, the front desk personnel made a point that it was being worked on and would be corrected very soon. Yesterday I dropped some things off (because close to my work), and the temperature was so hot that couldn't breathe and nearly passed out just attempting to set a few items in the unit; luckily i didn't have a lot. However, i have items stored that will be ruined by the heat if not fixed. When i asked when it would be back running, the front desk said," she notified the DM and corporate, it should be soon." I asked if i could have a credit towards my rental and the response was: "no, we don't give refunds of any kind." I said, you shouldn't rent units as climate controlled if they are not and then asked if i could move to floor 1 because that is the only one with a/c working. Of course, that wasn't available but she told me to call back in a couple of days for an update. She definitely sold me to get in but now that I'm in, i don't seem to matter.

- Millersville Public Storage Manager, Christine, was absolutely phenomenal during my visit at the 8396 location. She maintained a warm, friendly and very patient demeanor the entire time I was there. I was very inquisitive and even changed my mind about a unit. Christine still maintained a professional, patient and positive demeanor as she completely revised the paperwork for another unit. - So far, nothing but stellar customer support. Insurance offerings are poor at best. I will be getting my own insurance. Was "tail gated" through the gate on my first visit by someone who tried and failed to punch in their own number. This is a security concern. Next time I will block the entrance with my car until the gate closes behind me. You should suggest others do the same.

- I'd highly recommend Public Storage to anyone. The online reservation process was quick and smooth and my in-person appointment for the paperwork was seamless. The rep that walked me through everything was energetic, fun, and so nice. She really had the process down and it was a pleasure to chat with her while we went through paperwork and while she showed me my unit.

- Over recent years, this facility is quickly becoming a dump. Doors are broken. Gate rarely is operational. Poor to no lighting within interior units. The only thing PS has going for them is the personnel at Veterans Hwy Millersville. Cristine is very personable and accommodating. If it wasn't for her, I'd have left PS long ago!

- the staff at this location is fantastic. positive, upbeat, friendly, knowledgeable, answering all questions and making effective suggestions. I am not a fan of upsales but they were clearly doing their job and made me aware of all products so i could pickup what i really needed. My primary dissappointment or surprise with the facility is that a multi-floor storage space has only 2 loading carts for the entire building of hundreds of units. This is OK if no one else is there, but considering the location has less than 10 units left it's jam packed full and people get there and get upset that there are no carts or loading equipment, one customer even got mad at the 2 of us using the carts to load/unload our units and blamed us for using the carts and left angrily. We were both unknown customers at the time but the shortage of carts caused us to work together so that while i was loading in, no carts came upstairs empty and while loading out no carts went downstairs empty and this coordinated team effort was done in interest of getting us both out sooner and getting the carts available again. This rushed feeling causing tension between customers because there are not enough carts at a storage facility seems like a minor issue with a very quick solution in my opinion, perhaps with some of the profits from such a successful venture your company could invest in several more carts, handtrucks or other loading tools to help the large amount of customers effectively load into and out of their storage units. if that is changed my rating moves to 5 stars because everything else is wonderful! thank you!

- My wife and I rent a storage space at the Millersville MD location - 8396 Veterans Hwy #200, Millersville, MD 21108 I am including this just to be sure the location is known. We worked with 'Ed' whom was professional, courteous, helpful and speedy (we expressed that we were in a rush). Overall the experience was easy and took no time at all. Would highly recommend this location to anyone considering a rental space. Speaking of which, the unit (climate controlled) was clean and easily accessible.

- Public Storage provided the short-term storage that I needed. The cost was reasonable, the facility was clean, the hours of access were sufficient. I only had to wait once for a cart to use to transport things.
