No, they are not. They are moving services providers in their areas.

How do I contact Movers?

As soon as you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email from Movers Corp including the Mover's contact information. In addition, the requested Mover will contact you within 24 hours of placing the order.

Do Movers work on weekends and holidays?

In most areas they do. Just enter your zip code and desired moving day to find available Movers.

Is there anything that Movers will not move?

There are some items Movers do not transport such as jewelry, cash, hazardous materials, firearms because of existing rules and regulations. You can contact your Movers directly before the moving day if you have any specific questions. For more information refer to What Not To Pack and Move page.

Do movers assemble/disassemble furniture?

Most of the Movers do. Click on the Movers' profiles to see all provided services. It is also recommended to ask all necessary questions before the moving day. For more information refer to Furniture Disassembly and Assembly

Do Movers hook/unhook appliances?

Movers will handle the major appliances' transportation, but usually you need to hook/unhook your household appliances for the move. Since under the State laws, most of the Movers are not allowed to temper with gas appliances. For more information refer to Preparing and Moving Appliances

Prompt acknowledgement of reservation is needed. Especially since our move was in 2 days, it would have eliminated stress knowing quickly that the online reservation was confirmed.

Had to call a few times to speak to someone but once I did get him he was great about moving the original date ahead to a day later. I had to call again to confirm and everything was good. The 2 movers we hired showed up on time and ready to work. Very nice and respectable to us and our home.

The movers were prompt and careful with our belongings. The kept a professional attitude the entire time, very diligent workers. The final bill came in below what we had expected and we were extremely happy with the whole moving experience. The senior member of the crew, Jeff, is the reason for the crew's excellent performance. His helper followed instructions well. He did good work. The cost is high for a shorter than 4 hour job, but the speed of work, and the care taken, made up for the high hourly rate.

The prices are upfront and charged hourly. Honest movers who really seem to care about their customers and quality of their work. You may be paying by the hour, but they are hard and quick workers. They were very thorough to ensure nothing was left behind. I'd recommend them to anyone.

There were 2 helpers - Timothy was one who did an excellent job with the overall move. They were on time, efficiently packed the truck so that multiple trips were not required, and did a great job in loading and unloading. They maintained the charge they quoted and I gladly tipped them for excellent service. I recommended these movers from "Rent a Helping Hand" to other friends as well. Will definitely avail their service in the future.

Handled my belongings a little rough. Started to rush and throw things into storage shed when it started to rain. I was charged a fuel charge of $35.00 that was never anywhere on my job quote where they said it was. Other than that just okay service.

Tim and Ryan were amazing! I moved into the attic apt. of an old house & had some really heavy pieces. They worked hard, were funny! The 1st crew had an issue getting to me. Jeff fixed the prob & sent a new crew so my move started 2 hrs late. Still great!

Two guys were strong, careful and fast. The only issue is they came an hour and a quarter late, so we had already unloaded half of the truck. They worked only 2 hours to finish, but still charged the 4 hour rate.

They did not call the day before to confirm like they said. We called them two hours before to make sure they were still coming. They arrived 35-40 minutes late. They did complete the unload in the 3 hours that I reserved with my husband's help.

There is no claims process which shocked me. My piano was damaged and I was told that if I released payment then that indicated satisfaction and nothing could be done. I am very unhappy with this lack of process to resolve issues.

The movers were polite and very efficient. We had a couple of challenging items but they both knew what to do and how they were going to get large bulky items up a narrow staircase and around a tight corner. They also packed the truck so nothing moved.

Not your typical movers. Instead of taking drawers out of your furniture or securing them they decided to move the pieces as is. Needless to say contents where all over the place. They also forced furniture through doorways and hallways. Do not recommend

We thought the packing had gone smoothly; however when my sister-in-law got home, she realized $70.00 had been taken from her purse. None of us did it, so it must have been one of the packers. We won't use your company again.

I was actually a very annoying client. I changed the time and day on them several times with very little notice and they were able to accommodate me every time. They were quick and efficient! Even helped me assemble a burdensome bedroom set! Fabulous!!

Only one mover initially showed up, but called for a second. We determined 2nd guy not needed. We all chipped in to get the move done (in the pouring rain) and they knocked off quite a substantial amount from the bottom line. I would use again.

Timothy and Luke were wonderful and we are very happy with the help they provided. Would only have been better if they had had straps, pads, and larger hand truck & dollies. They didn't because was a same-day order & they came direct from another job

They were late, however, they sent in an extra hand without charging us (we paid anyway, happily!). They did a great job in unloading, placement, furniture assembling, and they were willing to help us. Worth every penny, and my respect.

Although late, Tim and the crew were tremendous, They brought knowledge and ability as they moved a difficult couch. They also put together a pool table for me. I couldn't have done it without them. Much credit is due to them and their company.
