How does Movers Corp work?

Search for Movers by entering your zip code and your desired moving day in the Search Box. Compare the Movers and place an order with your credit or debit card. You may place an order directly through the website or by giving us a call. Movers Corp will charge your card for the services you have requested and provide you with a service code for your Movers. Your hired Mover will contact you within 24 hours to discuss details of the upcoming move. When you are satisfied with your requested services, give the service code to your Mover as payment.

How soon do I need to schedule my move?

Reservation is based on availability. In order to ensure the desired day, place your order as soon as possible. Usually, the weekends and the end of the month are peak times in the moving industry.

What is your privacy policy?

Your customer information is protected and secure. We take every precaution to ensure the safety of your personal information. We do not sell or trade your personal information; we only provide your contact information to the contracted Mover. Please refer to our complete privacy policy.

Are Movers employees of Movers Corp?

No, they are not. They are moving services providers in their areas.

What type of equipment do Movers provide?

Usually the hourly rate includes a moving truck, moving blankets, dollies, bungee cords, straps, tools for disassembling and assembling of your furniture. For more accurate information, please refer to Movers' profiles.

Do movers assemble/disassemble furniture?

I booked them for Saturday morning move on Wednesday and there were ready to help me. Movers were careful and paid close attention to my directions. Completed the job accurately without any issues. I will be recommending them to others.

They did not bring any shrink wrap as I asked. So I had to go buy some. There were two helpers that came but one did not speak English that well and was not being very helpful to his partner. It was a little crazy.

Showed up an hour early (yeah!!) cause it was so hot outside. Josh and Brandon hit the ground running and were really efficient. Not a wasted minute. Nice job, and Josh even fixed my frig roller wheels for me. Thanks, Pete!

On our moving day this company flaked on us! We scheduled 10AM 11:59AM Only 1 person of the 3 crew man showed up after 2 min he went to his car after 1 1/2 he came back telling me he is at the store to buy supplies! The rest of the crew never showed up

Movers were late and did not call. When I called there were excuses why late and no call. If appointments cannot be honored then a phone call should be made BEFORE being late and before the customer has to call. OVER an hour late!

The movers drove for 5 hours to my location, over the Sierra's and through Yosemite. Arrived an hour late but hey, the Donner Party never made it! Great move, very courteous and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I moved from LA to East Bay and had to move my stuff in my apartment which is on the 3rd floor & no elevator. Spoke to Pete on the day after thanksgiving & he showed up on time. Moved all my stuff in under 2 hrs(super fast) thanks guys

The movers showed up 1 and a half hrs late, they were not professional at all. They moved boxes just fine but they were not careful with my furniture at all. They just shoved furniture up the stairs when it did not fit almost dropping items. Disappointing

I would NOT recommend Pete's Moving Service. Every time I spoke to him he was very vague about the date. The NIGHT before my scheduled move Pete called me to tell me one worker had gotten hurt and he had to cancel. He had no backup plan.
Mover response: Yes one of the guys that service your area did get hurt the day before but I referred you to other service providers that were able to accommodate you move the same day, so the bad review was very unnecessary since I was in contact without all throughout.

The two men showed up pretty much on time and started working immediately. They were diligent and worked non-stop until the truck was full. Unloading was the same. I highly recommend this moving company.

Pete & Joshua were on time, worked quickly and carefully the whole time; were both very gracious and when time ran over, making them late for their next job, they were very nice about it. I would hire them again in a minute. Great guys, great job!!!

Pete seemed a little foggy on the date of service, but when I reminded him he remembered. He arrived with 2 other very nice young men. They all worked very hard with no breaks in 90+ degree heat. They were careful and efficient. Recommend.
